For those of you stopping by today, on the very auspicious inagural day, blah blah blah…hi. Watch this space for updates and such, and I hope you like, in general.

I decided what’s stressing me the most about looking for an apartment (besides the sheer resentment that I have to leave at all): it’s not the new apartment in itself, it’s the period in between when I don’t know where I’m going. Once I’ve picked out a place and they’ve consented to rent to me despite my truly underwhelming credit/money situation and it’s all definite, that’ll be much easier to stand - definite actions can be taken to move things along, the steps in front of me will be clear. The not knowing feels to me like running between hiding places while somebody shoots at you.

(Theoretically, of course.)

Or is this site lookin’ kinda finished?

I mean, I still have to format some other parts of this here weblog, but other than that…I think it be done.

I’m planning to have this page here be the only sort of welcome/news/what’s up page on the site, which I’m feeling a LEEETLE weird that I don’t have featured more prominently - the site feels a little like I don’t talk to those who go to it. But hey, aside from a redesign, this is where the talking will have to occur.

I was just checking to make sure some of the links on my “Links” page (which I just finished - hence the talk about being done) were still current, and I am now trying not to suffer from Site Envy, of all the sites I immediately think are cooler and better done than this one. All those Web Geniuses and Hipsters out there, and me with my complex, a tradition since Junior High School, that Coolness is not my domain.

Domain? Hmm… ::immediately goes to check if there’s a “www.coolness.com” out there:::

Lol. THIS is the land where I’m worried about being cool?

And what can I do to be worthy of how cool she and my dad are?

…this blog entry is looking nice and pretty inside the little window I’ve created for it.

If not, then we’re all just going to have to wait until I’ve read my “Designing CSS Web Pages” book a little more thoroughly.
